Preparing for Our First Bible Study

I am having fun prepping for our first public Bible study at “The Fellowship” in Bock. The first week we will be talking about why this fellowship will never own a building or ask people for lots of money. We will be exploring the concept that “God will provide the provision for His church to complete His plans.” As Christians, we have the tendency to minimize the risks of ministry by storing up God’s provisions rather than sharing His resources with others in need. This scriptural study will share why “The Fellowship” will strive not to gather, maintain, and control ministry assets (like buildings) and share how a church could really function if they truly believed that God will supply all that is needed for His plans to succeed. As the Church enters a time of reform, we are going to see more and more ministries shift from large buildings and budgets to fellowships that decide to use God’s resources for more eternal things. The yoke of church building ownership (and incorporation) has imprisoned many faithful Christians within the Bride of Christ. What could God do if these seasoned saints had the faith to walk away form their prisons and serve others with the provisions God has blessed them with? What a revival that would be…

See you next Wednesday at 6:30 (6:15ish)… Oh, and make sure you bring your Bibles. I will bring some extras for those who need one. Blessings…
